The sacred act of dissolving

Shape-shifting prayer

The polymorphic body dissolves and tears.
Transforms and dismantles.
Dissipates
Unties
Dismembers
Disintegrates

The polymorphic body needs metamorphosis to remain whole.
To merge with Life.
To aggregate to the ground.
To break and emerge.

Metamorphosis is inevitable, but we do not always have a cocoon.
Life pulls and pushes
Inexorably
Swallows and spits
Rips and transforms
Leaving us naked and skinless
It consumes and recreates

Metamorphosis is inevitable, but we don’t always have a cocoon.
For us to surrender back to life, we must allow ourselves to be consumed and torn apart.
For life to nourish us, we need to surrender to metamorphosis.
Without conditions
No ground
No expectations
For life to regenerate us, we need to be swallowed up

May we do so in the sacred Cocoon
The one that welcomes and holds us when we are liquefied and without references.
The Cocoon that supports us while we do not know who we are.
Again and again
Again and again

Again and again

Submerging and emerging.
Anchored in revelations from the ancestor depths and supported by the poly-ecology surrounding us.
May we emerge into the sacred singularity of metamorphosis, touching the Anima, the soul that knows it belongs to the web of life.

For metamorphosis is the unfolding of Life.
